man this thread is making me question my desire to bump from 33s to 35s...maybe i should go straight to 37s haha. after all, i'll be making the jump after i retire it as my DD. do most of you guys have stock gears and axles? i just feel like 37s is the "breaking point" for stuff to start going wrong if you wheel it too hard. but then again, i'm a noob :)

I haven't broken anything with my 39's and gears. And I beat it on the Rubicon this year. I had 35's on mine with no lift for about a year,(of course they rubbed in the back even after de-flaring it). 4" coil lift and a 1" rubber spacer is all I run now. Go big, you'll love the clearance Offroad!

I went with chromo axles and 5.29's. go 37's and don't look back!

I ran all stock gears for several years, once I learned to drive it, like the rubber overdrive on the street/highway. On the trail, it worked, but could be better, installed transfer gears, fixed that problem. Overall happy with that setup.

Define "wheel it too hard" can break stuff with stock tires if you "wheel it too hard"!:hillbilly: Mine has been wheeled often, pretty aggressively, never broken any drive train stuff.

Another pic please sir! side pic prefered

I was thinking of running the stock LX wheels with my 345 KM2s but wasn't sure if I needed spacers.

Do you have wheel spacers on your LX?

I am running 1" wheel spacers. I'll check for a side pic.

I think A LOT of us would be running the 345 KM2's if they where available. Geez. BF is slacking

I have J's with 1" front spacer. Rides good.

This is the only picture I have from the side. My dad is driving. We were testing for rubbing right after we got the tires about a year ago.

I have wheeled with Keven for many years, watching him on those 37s over stock gears. He makes it work really well. It took me two years to wear out my 315s after I bought my "bilt" 80 and now I am also running 37s. Just plain love 'em. John

Just picked up this set on a whim.
37" BFG Krawler blues on 17x9 TR beadlocks wheels

Still questioning if I want to go 37's. If so I will be doing 488 diff gears and chromo axles in front
They don't rub suprisingly. I didn't get to stuff them all the way so maybe they will.
