I'll get Randy to fill me in on the cabin size next week.
Not to worry Travis, we'll figure it out. Don't know about your gear tho'. You planning on bringing something special? Pawnable? I mean, other than Amanda. ;)

Gerg, I'll call you and we'll figure out logistics. If you want to rent a car that's okay. It just seems silly to rent something if all you need is transport to Katemcy. Do whatever is easier for you & Jen.
Happy Trails! N
Nick, I'm just talking about sleeping bags, clothes, etc. that would normally go in the tent. If we was to sleep in the back of the wagon, I wouldn't want to have all that junk in the cruiser while wheeling, bouncing around and crap. Nothing special.

So, how big are these cabins? We can definitely bring a tent if they ain't big enough, and if Greg and Jen would need the spot, seeing as how they'll be flying and won't have a tent.

Yep, bring that chili on Chris. We'll get 'em all fartin' like Mongo. ;p

mine will be the chili that makes 'em fart. I am making "poor man's chili" (w/ beans), you are making competition chili (no beans, no farts). Its good people have a choice. Are you making "hot" and "mild" again? which was more popular, Jim?

Travis,
I'll PM you tomorrow. Your gear's not a problem, and there will be plenty of space for both of you.
Gerg & Jen are staying with Butch I hear, so there won't be a crowd.
Happy Trails! N

Looks like things are shaping up nice. Thanks to those who offered rides n such. We will get in at 10am Wednesday then rent a car and come down. Jen wants to go to Austin one day so I figured it would be good to rent us a car. Sleeeping arrangments have been taken care of, thanks for the tent offer.. we really appreciate all the help folks have offered up

Next up..........who is leaving when? We would like to hook up with others for the drive down. Name a place and time, we will be there ready for the drive to Katemsy.....

Its less than ZERO above here today, were both looking forward to skipping school for some nice warm weather!!

Glad everything is working out well. We should be getting there Thursday afternoon/evening (we both have tests that morning).

We'll look forward to meeting you and Jen - what are you guys studying in school, by the way?

Nick, you are a gentleman and a scholar (that's what they say, ain't it?). See you in a few weeks.

Everyone complained that it was a bit spicy as they sucked down the beer. I amonly making one batch, maybe not as hot this year, but its a chance thing...based on how the serranos cook down.

Bring on the serranos!

Buddy of mine purchased a Cruiser in Austin. Looks like Jen and I will be getting a one way rentle in Dallas and driving to Austin Wed to pick up his 80. We will drive the 80 back to katemcy and use that for the weekend. If we can't fit it on the transport it looks like I will be driving it home Sunday / Monday.....
