Camping Conditions @ Katemcy

Can someone give me a summary of what type of camping conditions there will be at Katemcy. This is my first trip down so I don't know what to expect. We will be in a tent.
Are there fire pits? Reserved camping spots? Just need to know what to expect.

Tent campin' ain't no problem ... place is wide open for it. No reserved spots .. first come, first serve. "Primitive campin" only ... no RV hookups, no showers, but got porta johns. Fires are fine and plenty of camps will have 'em goin'.

Post on up if'n I left somethin' out and ya got any more questions sir.

no reserved spots. very primitive. no tables. no showers. there are firepits. Most of the state has a burn ban in effect because it is so dry. Not sure how this will affect us. Might affect the individual fires and not the main one, but I don't know. Just wondering.

there are several good Porta Potties.

I bring my own folding table, and I bring my own shower. One of those black plastic bags you hang in a tree. It gets the water hot. You can take your shower in a bathing suit.... no speedos please! LOL

Don't worry Shreg..........I'm bringing lots of summer sausage and smoked cheedar from Muenster. Mix that cheedar with some chili and Shiner and it'll plug you up and you won't crap for a week!! Cuts down on TP!!
