When I bought my 200 my dealer said I could request a custom build, but that it would probably be cancelled after a few months by Toyota. The "rules" back then were no special orders, and every 200 comes fully loaded.
I hope you get yours, but I've never heard of anyone successfully ordering a custom build from Japan.
Thanks for the reply. Actually, there wasn't anything custom about it. The dealer didn't have any LCs on the lot so they placed an order for one and expected it in their next allocation. Apparently, there's been like 3-4 allocation periods since then and it just hasn't popped up due to the factory being out of the terra/brown leather. Meanwhile, other dealers have received the white w/ terra leather. I'm sort of attached to this dealer because of a nice corporate discount.

I could also just add the pair of LF to the bumper but x4 seems excessive. I've also had a Rigid 30" waiting to go on but am considering putting it elsewhere.
I'm hoping there are others here who have moved (probably) from HID to LED and can relay their experience of the differences, especially on their perception of long distance output. I'd probably run LED as both floods when adding the LF. Thanks for the advice.
To me, this sounds like you just need a mixture of flood and spot LEDs. The design of the reflector/projector determine the throw distance more than whether it's HID or LED...
Thanks, I have that. Pencil on left and flood on right. I have never used Lightforce HIDs but understand that one of my wants, output at distance, is much better with something like the Blitz HID. While I can find the standard 1 lux at X distance measurements for lightforce it's, I'm sure deliberately, murky when it comes to the high wattage LEDs from China like I have.
My understanding is that it is still preferable to run HID for distance while LED is great for lower draw combined with lower to medium distances. I think lightforce might have come up with the best of both in one housing and was hoping some might have experience comparing when coming from HID > LED. It looks like desert racers are still using a combination of HID and LED for this reason.
Our 2Hundy is such a princess. Heated garage every night, bathed frequently, my wife drives her to the grocery store, you know the story. What's our 2Hundy gonna think this May when she's crawling the slickrock at Moab?
I see that Lightforce has a new light that is both LED and HID. DL230HTX available soon.
Does anyone know the part number of the new interstate battery that said fits in Slee's new main battery tray?
I'm on my original battery, and it's almost time to replace it.
