Installed Iron Man lift today. Looks great but was way more than a 2 inch lift more like 3 and then some. Not sure why it was so much more than I thought it would be.

Which coils and shocks did you get?

Suggestion: find a way to bounce or "jump" them. Speed humps work well. This will accelerate the settling process. Mine settled about 1/2-3/4" in the front.

Enjoy the new ride. Time for new shoes now, right?

The ones I installed last weekend gave me 2. They were supposed to drop the rear .75 from stock.

What model springs? 2720?

Yep

I also have the 7021s

My Ironman lift settled proly a full inch over the course of a week or three...

Driving home last night and it was snowing pretty good. I don't like how quickly the PCS system becomes unavailable from ice build up. Shortly after, both front sensors became unavailable so my dash was lit up like a Christmas tree! When it's snowing and ice is out you'd like PCS to work. Just my 2 cents for the morning.

I was messing around with the nav last night while waiting on someone.... so my maps on my brand new truck are from 2014 and Toyota wants to charge me to update them!! WTF! I hope that is a joke.....

We'be decided to sell our Hundy. Our 2Hundy has moved solidly into first place in our household. We love it.

Never has it reached this cold in the past few years here and 10'c in December means we'll probably see single digits over the next few months, I'm really hoping for a cold wet winter this year that'll make up for the lack of rain the past 5 years

I spoke with Magnuson this past Friday about when and if they would be releasing their chargers for our platform. The word is around the end of this month.....tempting...if it wasn't the cost of a used car. Price was quoted to be around the same as what the TRD was selling for.
"The guy" also mentioned one of their engineers took the charger and its install instruction step by step and was able to cut out about 4 hours of install time due to his revised editions and some other parts designed for the fit kit....won't know any of this to be factual until its released and one of us makes the drive into charger land. Still, awesome to know that it's an option should someone decide to spend part of their Christmas bonus or year end dividend.

They way the average member on this forum throws money at their LC, money for a SC ain't nothing to most members it seems

Finally got my bumper installed, pretty much a carbon copy of Willy's... but this one is mine :) Very happy with it, and now have to get rid of the resonator to eliminate that low hanging appendage!

That looks great! Don't worry about those parking sensors, when you the bump just stop.

Awesome.
I would love to hear more about installation...lights...technical hurdles, etc. with your install s I am VERY INTERESTED in this same bumper. Honestly, what I really want is for Slee to build a heavy rear bumper, but the price on this one is great. Willy gave me some info & would be nice to hear from Bumper #2. What lights are those? Did he make cut-outs for those lights in particular? How did it go with wiring, etc?

And if you're REALLY bored...
-Maybe some close-up photos underneath...with carriers opened, etc? Really curious about the details of his design.
It looks awesome.
I'm wondering if he might be able to fabricate a double jerry can version....and/or perhaps a hi-lift jack carrier/mount.

Anyway... Looks GREAT!!

Let me shoot some more pics for you tomorrow and you'll see exactly how it's mounted etc. It's a super high clearance bumper so the low points now for me are the resonator and the hitch wiring harness. Resonator will be gone soon enough. hitch wiring I need to look at to see if moving it is easy enough and necessary.

Quality of the build is very good. Welds are exceptional and the design is extremely nice for my tastes. I'm exploring how to mount a highlift to the existing setup but will take a while (I'm busy with vacation plans right now) to get any real time to look at that.

From a cost perspective, the bumper is nicely priced. Do know you have to add in the cost for powder coating of your choice and if you get the lights, you'll need to think about the wiring of them as well.

The cutouts were there for the rigid LED lights as Willy designed and I had copied... I take no credit for that but really like it. As far as a double can holder, building it that way would be no problem I'm sure, but I think the issue would be the room that would take up covering up the tail lights with anything wider. For me, when I need it I'll get the roof rack installed with can holders up on top for fuel and water. That will come when I move out to CO one day (hopefully sooner than later) and have a real need for it. Here in the SE, we don't have true expedition travel opportunities that are far from the nearest walmart unfortunately... can you tell I'm ready to move. :)

I was just too busy to tackle the install and had a deadline so I had a shop do the work for me. There were a few challenges for them, but the biggest issue was wiring and remounting the backup camera through the tire carrier... and any bumper will have that issue. As compared to the stories about the pain of mounting the ARB rear, this one appears to be a piece of cake. Mounting any bumper to a 200 is difficult in comparison to mounting on a 100 though. Cutting the body panels etc... adds a level of complexity we didn't have to deal with on the 100's.

As far as waiting for Slee, I'm with you... I had his dual swing out on my 100 (actually had both the single and double over the 7 years I owned the truck), have his sliders on the 200 and had them on the 100, and his stuff is just top notch in quality so you couldn't go wrong waiting for that... huge fan of anything he builds, and wouldn't sway you away from the wait if you can wait...

Thank you for the info!
Appreciated!
Funny you mention moving because my wife and I are seriously considering a move to Colorado. :)

Any photos you have time to post would be great.
Glad you're acquainted with Slee stuff, and I agree that it is top notch. When I bought my 100 bumper, he had not yet offer the double swing out. Mine just had one, but it held both the tire and hi-lift.

Thanks, and I'll look forward to more pics. :)

Hope these help you out.

Nice tight profile...

Hi clearance...

Mounting to the frame behind rear tire

Here you can see some of the other mounting locations and the low hanging trailer plug

More mounting and the resonator... shows just how high clearance this thing is.

If I had one surprise, and shame on me for not asking about it, it's that there is no swing out lock. Nice high quality swing out, but would have liked it to lock.
ry%3D400

I'm thinking I can figure out a way to mount the high lift on the swing out using the provided holes behind the tire... for another day though.

As far as moving to CO... its only a matter of when not if for us. Have a great job here in Atlanta and a kid in college so I'll have to wait for one or both of those situations to change. Kid has 2-1/2 years left. Job... who knows, but always exploring the market out in Denver and the "range" area with a focus on Ft. Collins, just in case someone out there knows of something :)

Steen we got a foot of snow this week in Ft Collins! Just waiting for you! :)
