I bought the OEM on board air kit from Lexus.
Part number: PT94960240
Msrp: $1500
Ordered from Arrowhead Lexus in Arizona. Total cost $1134.

The compressor's wiring comes pre-installed from the factory for at least the OverTrail models.. I'm not sure if wiring is there for non Overtrail models.

There were not any instructions included but it was pretty straight forward. Hopefully these quick instructions will help someone else.

You will need to remove the inside quarter panel trim.

Remove cargo net hook and remove 10mm bolt

Remove tie down 10mm bolt

Remove bottom hatch trim, plastic clips hold it down.

Remove front tie down 10mm bolts

Remove limit strap 10mm bolt

Pull up foward floor, held down by a couple plastic clips.

Remove support brace 2x 12mm bolts

Remove 10mm bolt where the cargo cover goes, behind clipped on cover

Remove seat belt 14mm bolt, behind clipped on plastic cover

Strart working your way around the panel which is held down by plastic clips and unplug interior light

I used blue loctite on the bolt and attatch compressor as shown with 3 10mm bolts

Attach support bracket to jack mount 2x 10mm bolts and compressor bracket 3x 10mm bolts

There was a rubber bolt cover, figured it went here to protect drain line.

Cut out interior cubby panel to allow wires and air lines to pass through

Plug in air lines and all electrical connections and put back together.

Sounds like its just slightly less impressive than the old $50 MV50.....
The dual ARB is about 3x faster.

I'll test this out soon, but as @iwashmycar posted, it won't perform that well.

It does integrate quite well, the set and forget feature is nice to have (works with inflate and deflate) and more usb connections are always welcomed.

In the future, if the compressor doesn't perform adequately enough for my needs, I'll look into changing the compressor out. I wonder if the new brushless arb single could fit into its place.
 
Using the onboard system I deflated from 35psi to 15psi. I then inflated to 35psi, which took 2 min and 25 seconds. I only did this on 1 tire which is the oem toyo open countries 265/70r18.
 
Yeah, down to and up from 15/20 would be the sweet spot for it along with some other light duty situations where air is needed such as an air mattress.

I run the ARB twins for everything including lockers but alternately I wouldn't hesitate using this for the majority of my needs.

The integration and OEM look, not using any space that would otherwise be used. Those are good points.
 
Nice DIY writeup!

I would be fine with the volume for most normal tire sizes. I have a Smittybilt that is maybe 2x faster, but 10 minutes at the trail head airing up vs 5min isn't all that big of a deal. It would be pretty slow for 40's, but that's not really the point of it. One potential annoyance would be the location is going to be hard to access if you have a cargo area full of gear. Would be cool if Toyota had remoted the manifold block and control screen up onto the rear ceiling area or above the rear window on that side just so you could access it easier. But I think you'll just need to plan around it for packing. Big plus is that you don't need to take up cargo space with another compressor!

Curious to see how you like it. Hopefully for that price it's a very well made compressor that lasts a long time. My MV50s only lasted a couple years before they'd break down. My Smittybilt one has been good for quite a while, but it's probably not the highest quality unit.

You could also just add a compressor in parallel. You would want two check valves.
 
Looks like this is manufactured by NSV Does anyone knw anything about them?
