Hi all,

1999 LC, 105 series, 1HZ (HZJ105R)

Still experiencing a crank-no-start issue with the ol' LC, next idea that came to mind was to located the OBDII port just to see if there were any codes that could give me some pointers as to what exactly is going wrong. Interestingly, I watched this video and sure enough, I have the metal bracket attached to the pedal where the port may have been once upon a time but now there is just nothing there.

So my question is, is there a way I can check the codes manually? I've read about the flashing check engine light being the manual way to do it but I'm not so sure as to whether that's something I can do - and if it is, is there a guide I could follow? I do have the diagnostics port in the engine bay however it doesn't have both a TE1 and E1 wired, which is the only other method I've seen.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks :)
