So, my beloved Land Cruiser blew a head gasket last week. Been debating what route to take, but as difficult as the decision is, I need something more reliable at the moment, and so I am willing to take a major loss on this truck and my hope is that in selling it prior to repairing the head gasket, someone with a vision can either make that repair themselves, or possibly do an engine swap if they prefer. The very long list of aftermarket parts is listed below. In addition to that, in the last 2 years, I did a knuckle rebuild, replaced spark plugs, and replaced all 4 rotors, calipers, and pads a month ago. The truck was also needle-scaled and woolwaxed last winter, and the frame and undercarriage are super solid (bought this car and had it shipped from New Mexico about 4 years ago. The drive light even works. Highway speeds were never a problem, and the truck is just awesome. I am very hesitant to let it go, but I am in a conundrum, and it just doesn't make sense for me to put the work in to keep it.

So, for the right person, my loss can be someone's big gain. I bought this truck off of this classified forum from an IH8MUD enthusiast in Albuquerque, and have put about 20,000 miles on it in the last 4 years.

$8,000 takes it home, but I am willing to discuss offers. Will consider lowering the price depending on offers and possibly taking some of the aftermarket parts off and keeping them.

Please note, this truck is not triple locked for those only considering that. (I would prefer new Eaton lockers myself).

I also have a 2004 KLR 650 with 10,000 miles that I would sell as a package for someone that is interested. Color matches the car!

The car is located in Cross River, NY.

I can get more pictures taken and happy to have it inspected in person, or answer any questions.

Clean title.

Man, rewrite that thing and ask $10k.
Don’t take a penny less.
She is well sorted and shouldn’t be too bad to bring back to life. I would be 100% on it I didn’t bought two in the past month.

More reliable car needed? , just repair the headgasket

Man that’s a great deal for someone, could part that out and make more than asking price.

If William doesn’t buy it, I will. I’ve been trying to figure out how to get my fluids in an80, this would be a great project for me to do with my son.

Gross, but I understand.

This is definitely a clean ride and a solid start for you and your kid to get started with. Head gaskets are relatively easy and almost a rite of passage at this point.

Well, looks like I got an AI attack because I posted my email. Hey, everyone. Don’t list you email. That being said if the others don’t get it I’ll take it and send you money this morning.

Do you have any more pics of the interior as well as underneath?
