Not finished yet. Still have to make a drawer and finish some trim. Once wood is dry and concrete is cured, I'll sand, stain, and seal.

Wish @Fireman lived closer; I'd get him to help me with the cabinet and drawer.

Sweet. I bet that is heavy as hell. I like the concrete top. That has been what has held me back from making one. I need somewhere to put hot greasy metal and that may be the ticket.

Yeah, very very heavy. Table weighs about 175lbs, top weighs about 280lbs, and egg is probably pushing around 175 or more with accessories.

AO - find you a slab of granite from where they cut sink hole. When I bought my house there were a few down stairs and I made a quick frame and it is great to put hot grates or anything else hot.

I have access to scrap granite pieces if you need any.

Have fun cutting a 21" circle out of a slab of granite.

Blasted the interior and exterior of the tub today. Then gave it 3 coats of epoxy primer. Boys, let me tell y'all: this thing looks good. It'll be time to start blocking/sanding this thing soon.

Disassembled booth and got the body into my well lit and heated shop.

Now onto the fun stuff. Need to figure out my supply list now, and place a big order on Amazon.

Stepping up my body work game.

I've been using Evercoat and blocking with Durablocks; it's taking forever.

Here's what it looks like currently:

Just bought this IR Airfile to make things faster.

Got down to business today.

Here's where I'm at: I've nearly finished the first 2 coats of Evercoat and the associated blocking of those 2 coats on the outer tub.

I still need to do the final glaze coat on the outer tub. Once that is finished, I'll start on the inside of the tub (foot wells, dashboard, bed, floorboards, etc.).

If I can keep with it, I could be ready to spray my basecoat/clearcoat within a month.

Here's hoping.

I'm going through sandpaper very quickly.

Let's just see how the finished product turns out before we get all exited.
