Definitely interesting...wonder how much it would cost shipped to the USA? I think someone in the US sells something similar but last I looked it was in the $300 range...That even seemed like a decent price, but I wonder what the difference would be after shipping from Australia. (not as much of an issue for OP, as you are in Queensland, I see)

These bolt kits are the real deal. They are identical to OEM but the shipping costs would kill the value for those in the states. I looked into getting large quantities but negotiations fell off.

Says "Australia Wide Shipping" so I'm guessing the seller doesn't even offer shipping to the US? Do you happen to recall how much shipping would have been?

It was a different vendor but it I recall the shipping being around $90 for a 250 PC kit.

Yeah mate I bought 2 kits great value for money top quality kit

Thanks all for the replies I might have to look into getting a kit or two and just put them away for now.

Captive washers and locknuts, yellow zinc plated, sure would be nice to find a kit state side...

Does anyone know what the postage would be to the USA. Maybe we could look at sending some over.

Mate I would be happy to find out for you

Definately worth the money. I bought 2 kits before doing my engine swap. Nice having new bolts an nuts when reinstalling fenders, panels and brackets etc. They are top quality and just like OEM.

So, has anyone been able to source fasteners such as these State side? I was able to find this company http://www.accuratescrew.com/ yet haven't put togeather a quote to see what the cost would be.
If there is any possibility of getting a group buy on these, to save shipping, I would be interested in a set.

Maybe I should start buying them and exporting to the USA for MUD members.

I would go in for a group buy

Id be interested. Nice to have around Im sure. Put me on the list for a group buy.

I just spent 50 US dollars basically on two bags of bolts from Bellmetric. They have good prices, quick service, but they are silver zinc bots with the normal looking bolt head to them. They are JIS, one of the few places I could fine non flange head JIS. I only ordered from them because my local hardware store couldn't get me bulk quantities of JIS bolts like they had in their little pull out bins.

A kit like that for 100 bucks is a steal, why in the world can we not get JIS hardware like that in the US. Why can you barely get metric hardware period in the US. I can go to my local farm and ranch store and buy SAE hardware in all three grades by the pound, like a dollar a pound or more depending on the grade of bolt. But metric bolts are in the little bins marked at 0.50 cents each. Thankfully the SAE washers mostly fit 6 and 8mm bolts so I can get a lot of them for cheap.

Out of curiosity, is there a problem with flange-head bolts, aside from the fact that they are "not-OEM?" I do agree that it is very odd we can't find a similar kit here in the US...

I would be interested if a group buy or ship would work out and could make the cost less. I got into mine today and broke half the bolts on the interior and the previous owners must have lost about 20 percent of them. I wonder how this would compare to something like the bolt kits we have available from somewhere like sor in quality and value for the cost
