Yeah, but you installed them sideways.

Yeah, i'm not sure why a body lift either, a 2.5" with 35s is good for most things minus ridiculous rockpiles...

We did the body lift today and i can say changing the cdl sensor on top of the transfer case went from" man i dont know how were gonna get a tool in there" to " man that was simple". Its only an inch but itll let a lot more airflow around the transfer caseand transmission.

Dude, you forgot the most important part - the part where you almost lost the last part of your finger!

Unfortunately we were jacking from a not-so-secure place, and before we could warn Danny, his finger felt the weight of the body of the truck.

He squirted blood all over everything. It was quite the site. Fortunately I think all is going to be okay.

I'm not so sure his son thinks the same, however - he got squirted all over his leg.

Shields are up Capt! Ready for GA this weekend and T-Trot.

What a PITA. I drove around for a year with out the rear skid and must have snagged the crossbar on a rock that the last skid bolts to. Nothing would line up and the bar was DOM tubing so my biggest hammer was not big enough. So using my mounted winch I rigged up a strap and pulled everything into place and threw in the bolts. Whoa is me when I unbolt it again if I forget to put tension on the rear bar.

You just have to hit it the right way on the trail to make it go back the other way ;)

Who needs brakes?

Apparently my passenger rear brakes have been wearing themselves silly. I only heard a minor squealing for a short time a month or two ago and then the grinding started a couple weeks ago...finally got home and got around to seeing whats going on...and I discover what's in the photos below. Ordered new rotors and pads for the rear from rockauto. The annoying part is that only the passenger side of the rear is doing it. I didn't fully inspect the front, but there was no severe scoring like on the one. The driver side rear has plenty of life left...

All this after a weekend where my brother gets married and I get engaged:princess:. then time to spend more money...

no advice...but congrats man...no turkey trot?

Thanks. Can't afford to really. and no cruiser with parts coming in 3-6 business days. i could maybe swing by on saturday to say hi.

my guess is you have sticky calipers...so....

well, I'm not replacing the caliper, just rotors and pads. I was able to compress the piston with some force, and it did pop back when the brakes were pumped. so I'm going to clean it thoroughly and grease the bolts and see what happens.
