Note to FL cruiser. liked the unique stone ground look created in hard rock. But your body panel work is impressive.

Nice job Steve! I know where I'm going when my truck inevitably tries to push an immovable object!!

One day, we might all be as cool as Steve and his amazing bend-o stretch-o won't-stop-till-the-sun-don't-come-up FJ60

Mmm shiny...had to get a new caliper. Piston was stuck. Sucker was pretty degraded couldn't even get it out. The bleeder valve was rusted closed on the inside caliper end. (already knew it was blocked but didn't know it was rusted shut...)
Works like a charm now.

Looks nice man, took you long enough...

yeah yeah. Most of the time was spent waiting for the parts to arrive, first the caliper rebuild kit that I didn't use, then waiting a week for the caliper. And I was lazy about posting it up. I did it on Monday. hah.

Also, Sam Stewart of Lowe Toyota is a good guy. not exactly loquacious but he got me the parts, on the cheap, and i even got a nice TRD baseball cap with the caliper. too bad I'm not one to wear baseball caps...

speaking of taking long enough...how's that FJ40/80 going? :hhmm:
