Congrats! Glad you have already experienced a great adventure with it! Here's to many more!

Thanks for the adventure, and glad to see you made it home safely.

A final picture for this introductory thread. Took the 40 over to my storage unit so I could get the entire fleet together for a welcome-home shot. This is the 40 with the 1970 MGB (UK home market car, right hand drive) and the 1973 BMW R75/5. My little trifecta of classic machines.

Somehow I wound up with a full fleet of stuff from the 1970s. I suppose since I'm from the 1970s as well it all makes sense somehow... :D

The 40 is now inspected and registered in UT, and I met a fellow MUDer at the parts store today so I've got a line on some factory steel wheels. I'm glad I needed a bulb for the turn signal or I wouldn't have me him.

How about a 'refurbish' thread for the small projects you will be doing in order to keep her up and going as a DD?

I'm in the process of getting some photos together so I can do that very thing. Lots of little projects still to do.

Sweet 76! The best year IMHO. Good luck with getting all those little projects done. I have 16 years into my 76 now and still have so many things left to do, I just call it the eternal project.
