Okay, so, anyone have a recommendation for where to pick up a cheapie mag mount antenna in No. VA? Maybe somewhere in between Tyson's and Alexandria?

On a related note, Radio Shack sucks.

There's a Loves truck stop right off 81 in Tomsbrook.

Looks like I'll be able to make this trip as well. Can't wait. Will have one other guy & possibly one of my sons in tow. I'm down for mtg. @ 8:30 or 10:00, whatever works best for everyone. Fernando, LMK what I can contribute to this potluck. Can't wait to sample pork from the egg ;-) - Christian

All - I have met a few of the group in the past, and if I can get my tie rod fixed in time would love to tag along this weekend if there is room. I will be coming out of RIC, if anyone else is let me know, otherwise I will meet up @ 10 or whenever in Harrisonburg. If the group is full, I will catch everyone another time.
Thanks,
Chris

Edit - I have a tailgate propane gas grill I can bring if needed.

Looks like I'm sitting this one out, unfortunately. Y'all have a good time.

Crash has three now and two heepers I told them they had to bring food or they couldn't come :) one heep to people. I also have my wieners to bring.

who all is bringing food?

I'm bringing something but Lylia hasn't told me what it will be.

Any thought on dividing into smaller groups?

that wouldn't be a bad idea. whomever is bringing the grill to set up in the first group. rally up at the meadow for chow, then break off into two groups again after that.

that gas station is pretty small for 20+ vehicles in addition to regular traffic. two groups also allows for stragglers.

this would require some organization though...

I'll be bringing my kid (14 y/o). We are coming from Stafford/Fburg, so I'll be driving 20s/33w. We are willing to meet up w/anyone along the way. If we are cooking, I'll want to follow the chuck wagon group, since it will take me about an hour to cook up desert. I think I have the lat/long to the trailhead - can we get a post w/goog map link of the hburg gas station or an alternant rally point with a time to meet there? I'm still confused on the when and where.
