I've been going to the Fountain Hills Thanksgiving Day Parade for many years (at least 10) and this year one of the entrants was a local Land Rover / Range Rover club. They had about 7 rigs, everything from older Defenders to a fairly new Range Rover.

Of course the family tells me "you should get your club to do this"... and they're right. I think we should.

We could have a pretty big turnout, WAY more than 7 or so rigs. I think this would be fun... A good chance to show off our rigs, promote responsible 'wheeling, show that we're a family-oriented club, etc.

Any thoughts? Who's in? This could be a "special" November run. It's on Thanksgiving Day, starts at 9AM, the parade lasts 2 hours, plenty of time to be home for consuming turkey.

More info here

Sounds interesting enough, we should be able to put up more than seven vehicles. If I am in town then I would do it, we did this in Buckeye on tractors and old restored farm trucks.

Will be out of town for thanksgiving or else I would do it.

Anybody else? Or will this be another "nah, it's (fill in the blank) reason to NOT do it.

BTW, I'll add to this malaise: Attending the Scottsdale classic car meet at the Pavilions, NO ONE has the slightest interest in starting a Toyota show / swap meet (doesn't have to be a 4x4)... etc. I don't get it. We don't have to be JUST about 'wheeling...

And I know people do have other things they are doing. I just remember getting shot down in flames suggesting the Pavilions deal. :bang:

Marc, I suspect that if you were to plan a few weeks prior concerning a Saturday evening get together at the Pavillions; with directions on where and when to go; you plan/arrange it and they will come. Just start a thread and keep it alive with posts and pictures - there will be interest if its convienent imo.

It would be fun and different. Good idea! People could bring their families if desired. Csc can be more than just wheeling just need some instigators ;)

Great Idea Marc go with it!

I found THIS thread from a while ago and it looks like Puulboy knows how to reserve a row. I dont see any problem getting a 20 very nice CSC vehicles to show. Representing all Toyota 4WD models new and old would be ideal.
