Just driving it.

@LandCruiserPhil mudflap delete.

Picked up Tundra wheels off CL here locally about 6 months ago. My ideal tire and what I will have down the road is a 305/65. But a local Mud member had one year old 275/70 Duratracs I couldn't pass up. Thanks @Somebodyelse5 Rightfully nervous rolling on the BFGs with 65k miles from when I purchased so definitely needed. Solid look and solid deal on a budget. Bora 1.25" spacers on order.

I should rock an old 70's muscle car look.

Simple. Cheap. Not quite complete but still transformed.

Looks like it's coming along nicely. Always liked your old '06, looking forward to seeing how this one turns out.

Thanks! Yeah loved that one . But the 5.7 was calling. Not much left to do for a while anyway. Nothing major anyway.

Oil change...air filter...oh and finally got my front center caps on. Courtesy of Bora 1.25" spacers! Love the look but 305/65 are a must for me someday.

Only reporting impending alternator install and maybe front globes when I have the time and energy. Also not really a milestone mileage, but cool nonetheless.

Alternator install thanks to @murf. Been making noise for the last month and battery light finally came on. A few other things going on under there but nothing that affects operation currently.

Lower hose connecting on the radiator end started to leak after removal to get the alternator installed. One of those situations where the tech didn't get the clamp in the exact same spot. May have been fine if lined up the same, or with a good hose probably not a big deal. The aging hose didn't have any more molding/conforming power left. Didn't get a pic of radiator side but stat housing side was a site. Probably should have been replaced at the time, but huge ups to Riverview Toyota and @murf for the help and understanding. Drove up and he gave me a new lower hose. Installed myself and all is well again. So thankful for quality people.

Constantly scrolling CL happened upon my dream tire size. Got in touch and made it happen. Great to get out of the house for a nice little 1.5 hour road trip to Tucson. Landed a steal of a deal for some 305/65 BFG KO2. Only 2k miles on them. Over half off what they are new, for basically a new and better tire. Pics don't do the look justice. Sold the Duratracs to a guy at work.

Do you feel the ride/driving characteristics changed much from the jump up from the 275's?

Actually yes. Rides much better IMO. But not sure if that is just from basically brand new BFGs compaired to 8-10k Duratracs. Less noise for sure. I think also the quality of the tire is a difference as well.

Needed to do something easy, and free, for once. 12V always hot jumper.

Groundbreaking items once again. Weathertech All Weather Mats and trailer bling. It must be a part of the disease to have to do even little things and make them "build" post worthy. Now we just have to get out of town for a break.

Started by just replacing the hood to cowl seal. Figured might as well clean it all up. Really have to work on remembering to downsize my pics.

Mileage update, rolled to this on 6/25. I forgot it was close and wife took it to the store so missed the even number. No biggie, not like it's 300k or anything!
