It's local but I'm sure way out of my price range. My question: were the fold down seats and rear heater "rare" in the earlier 40s? I know they've been in pretty much all the 40s I've looked at. The seats for sure.

I saw that 40 at Barret Jackson on Saturday. Looked to be in pretty good shape but had a little overspray on the weatherstripping from the paint job.

Every FJ40 I’ve ever seen has had the rear jump seats and heater unless they’ve been removed.

I am pretty sure this one was on sale here at one point by a guy in NC (I think). It could have been another one, but it looks the same. I tried to find the old thread in the classifieds, but could not find it.

Rear seats and heaters were optional on some models, but I would not describe them as "rare"
