IIRC, my '75 solenoid has a provision for a by-pass current to coil, two wires, one cable. Is there a part number sequence that would explain the difference?

February '75 USA FJ40. I need help hooking up some wires. Someone before me had the coil non-OEM with a condenser, then I acquired a slightly later (4/75) coil and igniter. From the harness at this spot are a black/white and a white/black. Where do these go? Why does the igniter have an open...

That is it. The extra wire off of the solenoid. Mine is a '75.
