Steve - You had one picture of your phone - it looks like an iPhone? I'm guessing that's a GPS/tracking app - if so, which app? I've used my iPhone (just the Maps function) for getting around on pavement when I'm out of town, but it would be nice to have something for off-road.

Yeah it's called "Scenic Map Central USA" and to get all of NM you will need "Scenic Map West USA" but at that point you will have 2/3 of the US topo maps on your phone. It does 3D as well with tracks that you can email, waypoints, all of the usual stuff. The best part is the app is the topomap (10GB) so you don't have to receive data for it to work. You can download "Scenic Map Grand Canyon" for free to see if you like it before spending $10 an app

Bummer, no Android version. Did find something else @ $12. No Baja maps though ... surprise, surprise.

There is a very narrow spot that needs some attention. I tried to get a pic of the Blazer going through this with his wide wheels and tires but the rearend slid slightly off the trail and I missed the picture in the commotion.
