I've got an NIB fj60 fuel tank. Bought it 2019 or 2020, never opened it, was convinced I had tank problems, but it was just a rusty sender when I figured it out all.
I had heard that fuel tanks were going away, so I got one from a local dealer. At the time I had to call around to find one that would sell it... Toyota had suggested but not required reserving them all for Warranted work at the time.
It's my understanding that you can't get them anymore.
Is that true?
If so I'm willing to sell, if you can just get them from the dealer, go get a new one. That way you don't have to worry about junk that's been in a container for years.
We have 6 xj60s in the family, we'll need one eventually.
I'm not willing to ship, but I'm willing to meet someone in the Austin Texas area. I paid like 800 to 1k (wifes brain says 800+, but I rounded it up in my head to 1k) for it, not sure what it's worth.
The box is a little chewed up because I put it in my truck top side down and the copper staples chewed the lid up as the tank bounced on the lid cardboard., Still never opened.
I probably should have opened it and coated the inside, but I didn't need it then... just put it in the shipping container and left it.
