Hey guys I'm new to the Cental PA area and will be up at Rausch tomorrow with one of my buddies. Would love to meet up with you guys. I think we are planning on camping Saturday night. What level trails are you planning on running. I'm still building my truck so I'm running a 2.5 TJM Heavy (more like 4 inches right now) lift with no armor on 33's)

I'm on 33s, others are a bit bigger but you would be just fine. Have sliders yet? Those might be helpful!

M-ryan - just sent you an email to coordinate food-stuffs. heading out in a bit.

IIRC Crusha doesn't eat meat, and it sounds like he might be on a liquid only Booze diet! He doesn't get out much so has to make the most of it :)

No Sliders yet! That is my next purchase along with a bumper. Going to try to be careful :)

I should also mention that I'm running at fzj 80 and my buddy coming with me is going to be in a pretty heavily armored jeep running 31's with a 3 inch lift.

There is a stream that runs right through the forest near where we will be camping. Just bring a line and a hook.

I am not going to make it for 4 wheeling tomorrow guys, my rig is not ready. Hope everyone drives safe and has fun. Pics please!

Thanks Crusha... Will give u a call in the am. Have the lx loaded on the trailer and getting ready to go.

Hey guys. I'm not going to make it today. I'm having a issue with the 60 and I'm not going to get there even close to on time. I would text you but I don't have cell site just wifi in the house.

Was a great day with plenty of action and no catastrophies. I just took a peruse though the 156 photo' Baz took, there are some good ones in there. I will post them up tomorrow.

Wow, that was a ton of fun!

Friday's camping was quite the adventure.... promises were made to all arrive and get setup before dark. I got stuck in traffic and didn't arrive on the scene until about 6pm. Crusha got lost and couldn't find the campsite. As I was coaching Crusha to the camp spot using the wonders of apple i-technology we got a call from mryanangel who shred 2 fan belts off his 80 and was stuck on the side of the road. Crusha stayed back at the campsite to get the fire sorted while I headed back off to autozone to aquire some belts and then met Morgan on the side of the ride for some late night, in-the-dark, roadside truck repairs. We finally arrived to the campsite at 1015 or so, grilled up the most delicious rib-eye I've ever had a had a nice little evening out in the woods.

Saturday's wheeling was a ton of fun. We started with 5 of us (Caz, Vince, Crusha, Morgan and myself) and were joined by Pacer and his buddy who'd never been wheeling before. Gary will be excited to know that we left the parking lot right at 915 so there is hope for the ALCA to forever change the tides of group events and start being punctual!

We explored the west property a good bit, J to 11 to the big trucks doing 17 rock climb and then 19-A and 19-B. Lunch break and then around 11 and up 10 to cross over rock creek and exit on 13-B. Fun times across rock creek and up out of 13B, then a fun meander through the woods on 14 and then the easy stuff blasting back home.

I'll leave the photo posting to Morgan as his friend was using a camera much nicer than my iphone to grab some pics. Fun times all around, thanks to everyone for coming out!

What Ben said!!!

This weekend had a little bit of everything, trail side/roadside repairs, night-crawling (to get into camp), roaring fire, good food, good drinks, cold temps (25-28), good trails that were challenging enough to make it exciting but not so much that major damage was going to occur. Good people and am overall good time.

Was great to meet some new people and hit the tracks. When is winter wheeling?

Here are all the photos that we took on my camera...Ben I know you have a very flattering picture over me crawling over the engine bay and likely with my leg stuck in the ARB....post it up.

I had a blast!
Bent the hell out of my drag link...I think it's time for a Slee HD drag link...
Many thanks for the heads up, Morgan..I just ordered this from Marks 4WD.
Thanks to the exchange rate, it'll be shipped to my door for less than the cost of the gears from Marlin Crawler!
