They are installed. It was a little greasy. Must have used 25 shop towels. At least one full cup of high quality axle lubricant on me. Many thanks to Capt. Jim and Sputnik 40. Could not have done without them.:bounce: Who's next?

Now for 38's I will need a donation or two.:grinpimp: Don't everyone PM me at once!

Glad you got 'er done, Alan. Now you are ready to replace one on lower 2, in the rain, about 10:00 PM, with rapidly falling temperatures......:D Sputnik 40 really knows his front axles....

Oh-Oh!?!?! Someone has been a bad influence on you lately. I think his initials are B.R.

yeah those 35's are way tiny, and they are trashed after those TWO trails runs!!! :grinpimp:

I will be expecting you to run lower 2 on MLK now  :D

So what are you going to do with the 35's?:D

When the piggy bank can afford 38's I'm going to give them to the most worthy rug man I know. An humble man, who is also handsome, knows a bunch of cruiser stuff and can cook better than Emeril.

Now do I get good portions at mealtime in Tellico?:grinpimp:

I'll add to this thread...I got my 30 spline axle and brifs along with the aisin hubs last week. Now all I gotta do is rebuild the calipers from sputnik and put it together with new seals and it'll be ready to roll. Sorry didn't mean to highjack, hey Marshal we need to get together and find out what all I need to order as far as seals go for the axle. Thanks, Chuck

Nice. Good to see you dove right in and got it done. Now you have to be sure to carry some extra inner axles and a few spare seals and you're all set. :D

I'm with Chuck - I ordered the 30 spline longfields last Wednesday - can't wait till they arrive and then I can grind my new SOA axle housing. Anyone interested in a well used 76 SUA housing ground out for mini-truck birfs. If nobody wants it down here (need to check) local I can have Jimbo bring it up... Better than sitting in the back of my garage taking up space.
