Just wanted to introduce myself and say thanks for all the great info on this site. I've been looking for a cruiser for about 5 months and finally got mine a few weeks ago.
It really helped having this forum as a resource to answer some basic questions.
Now the fun starts...
I purchased a 1980 that is in real good condition...but has a few things that need to be addressed (gas smell in air filter, some spot rust areas, new headliner, etc, etc). And that's just what I know about. So I'm making my list and plan to knock them out in time.
So there are a lot of future forum searches in store for me...and I'm sure I'll be posting some q's as well.
I'm in the Richmond, VA area so need to search for a good mechanic for the tougher stuff...any referrals???
