Nice. Looks like the rear wiper is broke and looks like aftermarket tint. I really like that color though. Does it have lockers? Oh, get rid of those fugly wheels!

Welcome to the board.

very nice. not stock rims, if you don't like them consider upgrading to 16" rims instead of the 15" stock. if you plan on taking it into the brush you will want to get rid of the brushguard and the running boards. you should also remove the roofrack and check for damage at the mounting points.

Amazing condition on that paint for 14 years....or has it been re-done?

My first ever Toyota was a '91 Land Cruiser I bought in '91. I wonder where she is now......

Welcome! If you are like most of us, it won't stay in its present condition long....:)

No lockers were available stock on 91-92 FJ80's. I also agree with Semlin. Dump the rims for some nice black rims, lose the running boards and brush guard too. They will cause additional damage if impacted on the road or trail. Nice color though.

Looks like a really clean rig, especially for a 91', nice work, you are going to love it.

> You can loosen the nut on the rear wiper and position it correctly pretty easily as long as its not completely stripped

> Not loving those wheels, E-Bay them and pick up some stock wheels or something - just my thoughts

> First things first, pick up a FSM pronto

It is the original paint, the rims will stay until I can afford what I really want, the brush guard will leave as soon as I can afford a ARB bull bar, and I'll be getting rid of the running boards as soon as I can get a set of the factory wheel flair end caps. It has 93 boards and end caps and the end caps don't fit the 91 flairs right,

Talk to Cruiserdan about the OEM flairs and end caps. See the banner ad for American Toyota. There is no finer place to purchase all your OEM products.

Nice. My only comment is get rid of the brush guard right away. If you happen to touch anything, it will get pushed into your hood and grill. Even a slight nudge will cause $$$ damage. Like the name says the only thing they are strong enough to deflect are twigs.
Cheers,
Sean

congrats, nice articulation on the front lawn. enjow the 3fe POWA!!!!!

oh yah and probably the only red car where you would have a lagit excuse for not getting a speeding ticket.

Congrats......The best color on a 80 out there....of course I'm a little partial:

Best year for the 80 :D

They did it right the first time :flipoff2: All it would need is lockers. If you plan to offroad it your pretty red paint is going to look like my grey, all scratched up. Your paint looks awesome for original too, mine has clear coat failures on the hood and roof. Nice rig, and welcome to the madness. Only one yo have to worry about really is junk and his momma and tyler drinking antifreeze :flipoff2:

Here's my 91, I took off all my flares and haven't had any body damage from rocks and s*** kicking up. Get rid of the mall cruiser running boards :flipoff2:

Still working on getting bigger pics from my friend, this is off the UTSA offroad site which has limited space at the moment.

That was my first ever real "stuck" still drove it out though, just needed wood under the two front tires.

Thanks everyone! Crusin Carolina your right it is an great color. So I have a couple of questions. Are they really off road machines? I have a friend who owns a 2001 chevy short bed Z-71 with semi off-road 33's, he swears I couldn't go half the places he could, I know those newer chevy's are great but. What can I do to increase my gas mileage? How much would a disel swap cost and would it be worth it? I do love my new truck, but fuel mileage is going to kill me this is my daily driver.

You wouldn't even believe what that rig will do if we told you - just smile and say "lets go" to your buddy ;) The only thing holding you back is the street rubber - a nice set of MT's and you're unstoppable (although it might take a couple of runs w/o lockers :D )

Well with those rims/tires no..you probably can't go places he can go...

But in my stock 80 I took it places his Z71 couldn't go...it only gets better from here too with lift/tires....

Here is my stock 80s (no lockers) for you...
