Having had 1985 Toyota truck and 4Runner I always wanted to step up to a cruiser. Many years later many non Toyotas later I decided to finally bite the bullet.
175k on the odometer, lockers on both ends very clean interior, no cracks on dash ac will freeze you out. AC most important option on gulf coast. Looking underneath I would bet good money this cruiser has never been on a dirt road much less off-road. Ordered
Slee 2.5 lift and 1.5 spacer for fjc steelies w/285 75 nittos, front oem non running board flaps are enroute.
As it sits today.

Beautiful truck. So Jealous, but welcome! Lots of info on here to peruse to get you more familiar with your new ride.

It's been said many times, but spend the time to baseline, starting with the safety items (front knuckle studs, brakes, torque on lug nuts, etc) and take your time looking under the chassis and hood to get familiar with it.

Thanks Mark, the po just spent almost $1600 having the front knuckles gone through at Toyota dealer. Yeah lots to learn and figure out on this rig.

How much did you pick it up for? Its a great looking cruiser!

A very nice specimen! A great platform to work with. You may already know this but if not, you'll come to realize you like your cruiser more than money. Need proof? See which one you hold onto longer. Welcome and enjoy your new rig!

You won't need those spacers with 285's, or any lift at all for that matter. It's all in what you want though!

You're gonna need some sort of caster correction for that much lift. Just a heads up!

Good score btw

Nice work! As others have mentioned spend some time with the truck in stock configuration and get everything baselined before going crazy with modifications.

Nice pull on the purchase!!

Lift, tires/wheels and a bullbar gonna do me for awhile. Only reason for the bullbar is all the damn deer down here.

I want the wheels tucked so using spacers is not in stone. The stock suspension is all original and tired. I ordered the medium springs up front and a shorter spring in rear because I don't want high rear like it is now.

I'm running 35's with the OME 851/860 combo. It has a nice stance and the tires tuck nicely offroad. I'll add spacers when I go to 37's
