The steelies look nice on it!

So I've put about 300 miles on the cruiser since I got it. So far everything works I mean everything, no leaks no funny smells or smoke. UPS delivered Slee lift kit and spacers Friday but I like it the way it is now I'm in no hurry to install it. Nothing like the awesome ride of straight axle 4x4s.

Great vehicle you got there!... of course I'm biased, got the same rig! I did the 2.5" lift w/ medium springs (without spacer) for BFG 285/75/16 and fit is perfect for my daily driver. The ride is so much better. Good luck!

How's the after market leather holding up on the seats? Good looking rig. If you want to remove to faux wood dash search mud, lots of guys have done it. The light beige metallic paint holds up well over time. I have a 1993 rig same color. Congrats!!

How long did it take to install lift?

Front seats are toasted, rears are mint, have a pair sheep skins on order for front. Wood inserts still look good they'll stay. Only issue I've found is radio display comes in and out. All the speakers still good but sound quality sucks.

View attachment 1306326 This is my 80 with steelies and a 2.5 ome lift. Thought you might want to see what it looks like lifted. My only suggestion is to change you u-joints when you do the lift because you change the wear points and you may get a vibration at highway speed. I did but my 93 has 375ish on it but your 80 is a lot nicer. You might not

Thanks for pic and good advice, your rig looks awesome, I really like the rack what the brand ?

RTR!

I'm in Missouri, been to the Norfork. Prefer free stones and spring creeks, but don't mind a tail water now and then. Heading to the rivers of Missoula end of Sept. Love the Reds in your part. Nice brookie.

Good thing about tail waters is your almost always rewarded with hook ups. Planning a spring trip to BC for steelhead. Gonna try the switch rod thing, fiberglass is not dead.
