I will have mine too and a bustling axe, but last time a few of the campsites have some s***ty wood around them. It would help if everyone, if possible could have a few sticks of dryish wood. Yes I caught the list above and it looks like the party will start on Thursday night,

The way we got it figured for Thursday is as follows - Remember we change from EST to CST. ALL TIMES LOCAL

Thursday:

• 8:30 AM EST-- Meet at the Flying J in Resacca (usual location) we usually leave ON TIME
• 9:00AM CST (10:00 AM EST) -- arrive directly at the TRAIL HEAD, shuffle tow rigs back to Jasper and final packing of trail rigs.
• 10AM CST (11:00 AM EST) --Wheels a-turn'n on dirt and headed toward camp.

WARNING: for those meeting on THURSDAY!!!!!! DO NOT BE LATE. It's rare that don't leave on time and if you're late there's a good chance you'll be navigating solo. ​

The plan is to go directly to the trail head upon arriving so John , Henry and I can offload. From there we're gonna drop off the tow rigs at Andy's shop and catch a ride from Jasper back to the rigs. Probably the best thing to do is go directly to the trail head and you should find us there or certainly along the way.

Andy gave me beer laced directions to the campsite so I think I can find it or at least get very close. If we don't hit the exact spot we'll find one big nuff I suppose.

it's only changed 5 or 6 times since late yesterday (mildy better) so we wont know until Tuesday or Wed of next week what it's really gonna be like. Only consistencyy has been rain but I'd bet that's gonna change too.

What's the morning routine in camp like with this crew? I know some are earlier risers than others. I can go either way depending on the night prior. Just curious so I can be thinking about setup/teardown logistics when I pack for the trip.

This crew is usually on the trail by the crack of noon. As we are doing a group breakfast for a large group you should have plenty of time to break camp while breakfast is cookin.

Robustbambi is a definite no go as of yesterday.

Cool you're jump'n in a day early with us. We have to pick up Nick on Thursday morning at Andy's shop so i guess we're all gonna meet there instead of the trail head.

Long range forecast is tuning into the medium range and it aint look'n any better but still way too early to tell. That said, at least 4 of GC's are committed regardless of the forecast. Will be bringing extra tarps fo sho though.
