Ted I am trailering to Andy's shop and Hunter is meeting us there so we will 2 empty seats from shop to trailhead if you need them.

If anyone from the Nashville area wants to group up and convoy down to the meet point, let me know. Don't know if that would be easier or more difficult... Daniel P. and I are already grouping up to go Friday morning, time TBD. Post up or PM if anyone else from Nashville area would like to join. It will change our initial meet point, since Daniel and I both live in the Franklin area.

cheers, Joel

Joel, I'd like to join that convoy if yall don't mind. Won't change the meet point either since I'm in the area.

Also, change Barry to the "maybe" list. He took a brown recluse to the neck and is waiting to see if he's gonna be ok by then.

Hendog, your fonts are turned up way too high, lol

Cool, Jacob! Me and Daniel P. Are meeting at the Mapco off I-65 Peytonsville Rd. Exit at 6:30 am Friday...

works for me. By the way, I have that strap I promised you if you want it.

What's the morning routine in camp like with this crew? I know some are earlier risers than others. I can go either way depending on the night prior. Just curious so I can be thinking about setup/teardown logistics when I pack for the trip.

Does this answer your question at all?

Oh boy , breaking out the STRAP . This could be a interesting trip now .

It works better with the Ape mask!

Who has the ape mask at this point, Ted or Henry? Lol

It's all mine baby!! I own it outright and its value is climbing every trail ride!!

"EPIC" is the word I think. :meh:

"TARP" will also be a word we all want to become familiar with I'd Imagine, bring extras.

"NORKEL" (a word to make fun of snorkels) should also be considered. :moon:

and lastly, "EVAC" may be something we want to plan for if it gets too bad. :steer:

Mud Terrains also comes to mind... Glad I finally got some...!

Might want get someone to check the water level at the normal entry point and post back up before the main party heads in, ...a few times (with heavy rain) that's been a no-go for quasi normal height rigs. 33tires with moderate lift. Guess "yall" will find out Thur AM.. Have fun....be sure to carry in "dry" wood for fire....last time fire sucked due to moisture content in the fallen timber.

Hello everyone, I'm new to your forum here, but not to the cove.

I've got a few trucks that will be riding this weekend as well and hopefully we'll see you guys at some point.

We'll probably be going in late Friday in the top if it's a dang ol' swimmer down through the bottom.

Myself and one other at the least will have HAM's turned on and we'll listen for you guys that are already there.

Roger,
Take me off the list, I'm not going to be making this trip.

There won't be anything to check early Friday morning. Thursday is look'n great and assuming you guys get an early start on Friday I doubt the levels will have changed much.

Weather channel says 80% light rain, Weatherbug says 60%. Been here for the GC club annual a few years ago, postponed it a weekend and never rain a drop, just sayin'.

Fret not, we'll be fine. This is shaping up to be less rain than the 2011 New years ride and more like our 2013 Thanksgiving ride. Rained steadily for 2 days and was never a major issue, it made for great water crossing videos though. Aside from that we simply found a way around it and was actually a great time.

It's the cove or nothing for me and I'm all in, aint gonna let a little rain scare me away.

So that's a 20% to 40 % chance it won't rain . Plus I see the sun here which hasn't been around sense I don't know when so I think the weather gods may be with us .

Plus I don't wont to miss Ted giving Roger the strap .( Please wait until Friday )

Plus Plus I'm tried of drinking alone .
