The Cove or Bust!

So that's a 20% to 40 % chance it won't rain . Plus I see the sun here which hasn't been around sense I don't know when so I think the weather gods may be with us .

Plus I don't wont to miss Ted giving Roger the strap .( Please wait until Friday )

Plus Plus I'm tried of drinking alone .

don't worry you'll have your turn, it's reusable.

There won't be anything to check early Friday morning. Thursday is look'n great and assuming you guys get an early start on Friday I doubt the levels will have changed much.

Weather channel says 80% light rain, Weatherbug says 60%. Been here for the GC club annual a few years ago, postponed it a weekend and never rain a drop, just sayin'.

Fret not, we'll be fine. This is shaping up to be less rain than the 2011 New years ride and more like our 2013 Thanksgiving ride. Rained steadily for 2 days and was never a major issue, it made for great water crossing videos though. Aside from that we simply found a way around it and was actually a great time.

It's the cove or nothing for me and I'm all in, aint gonna let a little rain scare me away.

I would go regardless...but work says otherwise...schedule conflict I can't overcome. Have fun..

got a busy day tomorrow and no time for packing so did it today minus food and gas. Unfortunately buried in the middle of all this crap is my empty 5 gal gas can. :bang:

aint no damn room for dry firewood that's for sure.

Well put sir

Truck looks good Ted .

Is that a surf board strapped on top ?

thank you sir, just about everything from the rocker panels up was replaced. Yup, It's a surfboard that doubles as a camp table.

@tkinze make sure you put some anti-freeze in the Dodge this year :moon:

haha, I'd ask you to be my tickler Jynx but Rocky would probably get jealous. :rainbow:

:rimshot: Ouch X 2!!! :rimshot:

So is it safe to assume we are looking at Camel Trophy Amazon conditions?
Dare I say mud?

Yes but without the land rovers and wine and Bree.
Hunter and I are loaded and ready to head out in morning.

Roger--might have to take you guys up on the ride to the trail head. Looks like we may have lost our taxi, Nick's wife and son have decided that puking all over the place is more fun than his trail riding, at least for tomorrow.

We plan to be at Andys by 9:30 CST

Have a great first day dudes, we will see y'all Friday?!

That should work roger, thx

For the Friday group--If someone can bring 2 or 3 extra bags of ice that'd be really swell. Thanks
