Don't worry about chain guys. We'll stick together and let Ali plow. :bounce:

8 ain't gonna work for us; we're just too far away.

Don't want to leave you boys out. Do we have agreement on 9:00?

9 am works for me. Are you all still meeting at that gas station at the corner of NM550 and NM528 in Rio Rancho?

9:00 sounds good. We'll see everyone Friday morning. We've got a big crew - should be fun and plenty of snow.

Yup, that's the place - just south of the Wendy's at 550 and 528.

Got an inch or so last night, and I see there is a storm warning for tonight. I will let you know how much we get. The run sounds like fun but Momma has me otherwise committed New Years Day

Evan/Jon,

Let's monitor the Megalink on Sandia repeater and HDC freq 146.460 at the same time. I have the same radio as you guys now! Also, I can program your radio if you come by the house on Thurs using Jon's cable and software. FYI.

Leni,
If you are in Los Alamos the group can meet up with you somewhere in the Jemez. No need for you to drive down to the meeting place.

CB channel 40 or 2M on 146.460

There's another 8" so far on the west side and only one on the east. I'm thinking west side means we go out past Fenton Lake and take a right about mp 19, but with over 2' of snow we don't get very far. The east side means Paliza and we can probably make it to the top and down the north side. The west side means we meet at La Cueva, the east side at Walatowa. Any other ideas?

I am actually down in Albuquerque this week hanging out with my inlaws.

I'm out. Got the crud this morning - H1N1 symptoms...

I am in.

I hope to have my Linux laptop and GPS configured to run Viking.

I will try to figure out how to download some topos and aerial photos of the Jemez area to load into Viking. I am still figuring out Viking as I just downloaded it this morning. Apparently there is a Windows version too.

Uh oh...my tire chains do not fit my newer, bigger, tires. Oh well.

18" - 24" at my house this morning, I actually engaged my hubs for the drive down to town this morning.

Ya'll have fun, I'll be headed home from work as you are driving north.

For those that have committed to go, will it be Paliza or 126(west side, past Fenton)? Majority vote gets it (and I can decide if I'm going)
