new release (in US) tyre by Nitto, not really tested yet
by the design and looks what do you think of it??

Lucky! I tried getting Nitto Dune Grapplers (315/75R16) but the only shop that sells Nitto in Kuwait quoted me 750 KD for 6 tires. 750KD is the equivalent of $2612. Instead I went for Toyo Open Country AT!

Nitto rules for capability, price, durability & comfort!

I like to rave about things that really work and my Nitto Terra-graplers are one of those things I did right! If these are anything like them but made for the trail then I think these would be a good bet. The tire looks great, I may use these on my LX 450 for the Mississippi mud and rough roads.

I just saw these and if there anything up to the quality of the TG's then I'm in! I've shot them an email to ask about additional sizes.

Seems reminiscent of the BFG mud terrain...

per Nitto a 285/70/R16 is available but they don't have plans right now for much more in the 16"s

My tire buddy had a talk with the Nitto rep, he said: They are made in the same segmented type molds that Terra Grapplers are made in, but have 3 ply sidewalls. They used some trick sound program to design them, are almost as quiet as the Terra Grappler. He drove two identical rigs, one with Terra Grappler, the other with Trail Grapplers and it was almost imposable to tell the difference. They tested them off road with other tires, one being the Toyo M/T, the Trail Grappler is lighter, more durable and grips better.

Said that it will take a while to get all of the molds made, but expects the line to eventually pretty much mirror the Terra Grappler sizes. If they make them in 37x12.5 and 16" or 17" rim will probably be my next tire.

That is good to hear. I really like this tire (looks anyway) and the different design on either sidewall.

Nitto markets it as a in-between AT and M/T. My only disappointment is the total lack of siping and seems to be more in line with BFG KM2's or Hankook MT's. The tread looks poor for anything on road but that's just my lame observation

I'm really skeptical they are as quiet and comfortable as Terra Grapplers but that would be nice.
Can't wait to see them on someone's 80

Based on my experience with Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo's, I'll stick with the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo's :flipoff2:

But the last time I checked, the Revo only came in little baby sizes and tends to let the air out of sidewall holes when playing in rock!:D

That's a special safety feature. Prevents damage to the truck.

Checked Discount Tire Direct and they are $271 per tire for a 285/70/16  versus $187 for the Terra Grappler 285/75/16.

Too rich for my blood.

Trail Grappler is more on the lines of a BFG MT or Toyo MT. The Terra Grappler is an AT tire. You can't compare the prices alone.

I don't think they have all the sizes, like 315 on 16's.
