A good friend of mine is moving to Amsterdam in a couple of months and needs to unload some stuff.

Picked up a Millermatic 175 with full bottle, extra spools of wire, cart, two self darkening helmets, glove and a bunch of other welding stuff.

A jet horizontal metal bandsaw.

Dirt cheap!

my new 40 is going to need it!!!!!!! Is there anything else the guy wants to get rid of? I'll take any kind of tools. :bounce: :bounce2: :bounce: :bounce2:

Marshall and JP, knows that I need em'!

I'll ask.

He's also giving me a ton of tubing, piping and everything else that is metal. I'm also try to get his welding table. Which is 2 inch thick steel.

I don't think he is going to give up his hand tools.

So JP your out of luck on the hammers and screwdrivers, pliers and all the other stuff you are missing. :flipoff2:

Like my new title.

Matt you need to change yours since you have a star.

Well sure I could get some hammers, screwdrivers, pliers.............but that would take all the challenge out of it  And yes nice title, so this means you got the tellico trip covered right ;)

Very appropriate title, Troll. In Army Special Ops we had what we called a "Spoon". That was the feller who was designated to heat up the vittles (LRRP's) for the rest of the team. Our guy made some kick-ass Cuban coffee that kept the team vibrating and awake for days.

Of course, we didn't have anyone nearly as dedicated or experienced in taking care of the team as well as you do for UC. Maybe part of the Club's funds can go to purchasing food items/equipment for our trips?

You're tops in my book, Brother!

Sure do. Bacon, eggs and hashbrowns every morning. sandwiches for lunch. And hot dogs, hot sausage, and hamburgers wrapped in bacon for dinner. Maybe I could do some cornish hens if we have a good fire going. Stuff them with onions and potatoes half cooked ummmmm. Or maybe beercan chicken.

Or even better I could bring the gas cooker and fry Up some wings. Damn I'm hungry now.

Oh and this was his response so far on the stuff.

Tranny jack, flloor jack, jack stands, car ramps, etc. Got a work table in the basement with a bench grinder, drill press, and vice on it. Got another work table in the garage with nothing on it. 2 9mm Glocks. 40 gallon fish tank. Dual G4 Macintosh.

The tranny jack, and jack stands as well as the 20 gallon parts washer are mine.

He's got tons of stuff. So be prepared.

Marshal what kind of tubing/piping are you getting? I am about to doa new rear bumper with extensions to protect my rear 1/4's any square tubing or like 1.25-1.5 round in there you want to make a deal for.

Any spare welding bottles? co2?

They stuff I gave him we cut up into about 6 ft lenghts. It's 1 1/4 black pipe I think. WOuld make a good bumper if welded together. I'll grab what I can tonight and take some pics for you. Your welcome to what you need to make your bumpers.

What's he want for the work tables. Depending on the price depends on which one I get. Thanks Marshall, great find. If the one with the tools is a decent price I'll get it.

Whew I had the unlucky 666 post up there for a second had post this to get it off.

Chuck I'm going over there tonight and Ill get pictures and prices and all my new stuff! :flipoff2:

sweet...you da man, I could also use the floor jack..been needing one of those. Does he have a compressor? hell anything good for a good price I'll take a look at

Marshal I'm using square tubing to tie into the bumper. I am just going to use round to wrap around to the wheel well and then run supports to the frame. But I would probably be interested in a 6' piece or two. Let me know what you have and we'll work out a price or something.

NO price. I'll have more tubing than I know what to do with. Use what you need. You can come pic it up this weekend.

I would say tomorrow but I'm going to go fix my buddies home A/C. One of the disadvantages of being certified in home air conditioners. You could swing by Sat if you want.

By the way if anyone needs some work done on there A/C I've got a jug of freon in the garage. I can also fix and get parts for just about any a/c out there.

Marshall, I am interested in one of those helmets if you would part with it. My S/D helmet is Harbor Freight and does not adjust reliably.
Also. if you are going to do some special cooking at Tellico and I hope you do, is there any special meat or whatever I can bring to help. :D

yeah that is a good point Alan, Marshall what do you want us to do about food for the trip....... do want to divie up what we need to bring or are goins to supply it and we just refund you like we did with the pig? we should have what 10 to 12 people there???

Hey Marshall,

Congrats on the new title. Although I haven't had the pleasure of some of your cooking yet, from all I've heard, perhaps CLUB CHEF may be more appropriate.

I'll just spot everyone till we get up there and then we can settle up sometime that weekend. I'll try to come up with a dollar amount. I'll keep it low.
