Solid. I think it's a little dented in, but it's not too terrible.

Knowing the history of your cruiser is extremely important, in my opinion. it tells you the strengths and the potential weaknesses of the truck--it makes the connection between you and it.So here's a little fj40 story for all you who might care to know.
So it started life in Indiana bought from a dealership in Indianapolis?(he didn't specify), the owner was a Doctor, and he took it home and drove it as a Sunday cruiser. Well afterwards he decided he would use it as a hunting rig and took it too Michigan and was stored at a cabin and only used twice a year. Which he modified the roll cage to hold a deer from post to post by welding two bars with hooks.(was in it when I got it, took them out recently) so it was used all the way up to year 83'. Then he passed away and the family that lived near where I'm from, brought it back to Indiana and was sold at auction to the local county department as a snow truck for plowing the hard to get too county roads. (Makes since why it had a switch in cab for strobe light thing on roof, also county department servicing sticker). It served that duty until 87', then again it was sold to a used Car lot in the town. It was bought and then used at the local cement plant for the Foreman/supervisor to drive around until 89' Then again was sold to another car lot. This is were the gentleman I rescued her from bought it and used it as an all purpose farm truck and last date on the title was 93' so weird time gap. He told me he used it for a couple of years then decided he wanted a truck and parked it in his barn were he stored SALT/LIME which explains all the crazy rust. And it sat there for many years then rolled out into the field to make space in the barn. Where eventually I came along and took ownership !
Not sure how interesting it is too you guys, but I thought it deserved to persevered with a history like that!
Also I finally got the original mileage !
