Been lurking here for a while and very much benefiting form the gold mine of info that is available in this great forum.
I now live in western europe, previously the uk and before that africa. 4x4-wise i've owned over the years: a hilux, RAV (awd), volvo, isuzu and ex-military truck turned civilian. Always wanted a LC and now finally, as i approach 50 yrs of age, proud owner of one 2001 50th anniversary model UZJ100. She is much original, seems well-enough maintained - wife says it looks and smells like a museum:
Thanks in advance for helping on my future questions... My tech / mech knowledge is amateur level - so appreciate all the help and your patience. I expect half of the fun / hobby will be working on and maintaining my own vehicle - the rest from usage, journeys and travels. Hope to send the vehicle on in even better state to a future owner
