Longtime Lurker/Lookie Loo. No stranger to Toyota products, but recently purchased my first LC from a very close friend. It’s nice to be part of the club at last!

1999 UZJ100 in Rock River. 178,000 well documented miles. Many usual maintenance items tackled by Duggy, and a lot of future problem areas sorted out as well. I feel lucky to have grabbed this, and can’t wait to get started.

SCS F5s, Slee sliders, a few dents, and door dings, but a very solid foundation. Just replaced the alternator. First order of business is to sort out the suspension with a 2” lift, and replace these concrete hard tires with something more suitable.

I’m not sure why i can’t edit the last post, but a little more information about me.

This is my current adventure machine:

2016 Tundra. Ironman bumper, lotsa lights, Leer heavy duty cap, bed divider, on board air compressor with 2.5 gallon tank, Air horns, TRD RW wheels, Bilstein mild lift, Toyotech rear AAL, Fridge, etc. etc. This thing makes long beach runs, boat, surfboard, and camper hauling.

A lot of you might know my crazy BIL.. RS6toFJ80. He’s the one who turned me on to this forum.

Looking forward to starting a build thread once I get time to start working on the LC. Currently rewiring this machine:

I don't think I've ever seen f5s with city tires on them.

Almost has an undercover police cruiser vibe to it....

Welcome to the club!

I feel ya... not really a look i care for, and you would think the ride would be better. Easy enough to fix.
