Yeah problem is I can't afford the very best so I get the very slow.

I pick her up today at 3PM.

We turned back the boost, dumped the piggyback ecu, and went with a basic full 3" exhaust. I'm saving a bunch of money because of that. But certainly the max boost will be about 7psi for now.

I'm going to drive it for a bit, and install all the bits and pieces I've had in storage (bumper/spare/roofrack/skidplates/etc - then it's going back to a tuner for injectors/ecu/ethanol/16+ lbs of boost. Should be pretty good though considering 150hp at the wheels is stock and it's currently running around 260... I'll have pics/video later tonight.

Anyone that wants to come see and help me with bumper install - let me know. I'm hoping to do it Friday/Saturday... Planning on having it mostly put together for the xmas party.

Wait, so you're running the stock ECU and 7lbs of boost and produce 260 RWHP? After all that, we are sticking with the stock ECU? Holy crap.

After all that mess of 2 tuners not knowing how to wire in a piggyback ECU I told him to get it running with the stock ECU/injectors... And it's running strong (obviously!)... He's been running it for about a week - put a half tank of gas through it - and it's reliable as is.

So I'm getting it back and driving it for a bit - and the next guy that tears it apart to shoot for 500 at the crank, will be someone that knows how to control the transmission without going pro efi. I'm still shopping for that. But meanwhile, that's a bunch of power as is.

@jamesurq happy for you Bro.... i'd just accept it for what it is and not think about modifying it further for another year or you may end up owning this thing for 5 years and only driving it for 3 months. LOL

So with the huge HP loss that the LC drivetrain normally gives up especially with the huge old meats that has i'm guessing engine output is still around 370-390HP??? That's still respectable. Just sad I never got to see it before I left.
