Red watery oily...like thin atf? All over front cross member, front axle housing, and steering connecting rod. Not anywhere that I can see on steering gear box. Paper clip is also covered, but trans lines look dry. Transmission fluid looks full and so is power steering reservoir....
I'm done today. If this isn't a free fix wheeling the Sammy again.

Look and see if there's drops on the bottom of the radiator, and check the atf lines (three of them?). I had a drip like that I couldn't find until the cooler line on the passenger side of the radiator came apart.

Why would you need to adjust it?!? It's not universal fit... We don't drive Jeeps.

EI mounting where you like VS here is a static piece of metal. Just more options at a fraction of the cost. :flipoff2:

We had a rider back out. You can ride with us if you want. Back seat between the "kids". :hillbilly:

BTW, I like the mount! It's perfect.

Thanks Moby, but I would rather make it to camp :flipoff2: :grinpimp:

And last year my Sammy pulled the ~1600 lbs trailer in just fine. :flipoff2:

 I kid...I kid...!

Did you figure out the leak??:meh:

Looks like paperclip

That dribble is after cleaning everything wet underneath and creeping forward to turn drive line. All transmission lines are dry as bone. Was hopeful might have been sector shaft but not serious if leaking at all. Toyota has one in Portland for $350... So since pretty severe looking leak likes like Sammy it's going to McGrew again. Oh and just another bonus.

Logs like new AC leak... Another $130...

Serious? That will work?

Wasnt that what Brian did at McGrew? He crushed his PP clip I thought.... although no leaking caused overhaeating and no power steering ... or something like that IIRC. (read as I wonder what he did to fix if that was the case)

YES! All the paperclip does is cool the fluid like a radiator. The PS system doesn't care what the radiator looks like...

Yep.

And yes. That is what I'm talking about.

I have a small cooler I was going to install inline and junk the paperclip. It's in the garage somewhere. I'd give it up but I'm here and you're there and time is running out. Sorry.
Any old cooler will work as long as you can get the hoses on the barbs. Good luck.
Hey, you don't need no stinkin' AC! Mine will not be funcitoning this trip. Fans, a spray bottle and lots of ice.
