Such a page turner this thread. It's 3am and I just read this thing front to back like a John Grisham novel. I hated that grill/headlight set up on page 1 but by page 12 I thought it looked awesome and totally unique like everything else in this build. AC in the rear... really impressive, your fab work, really impressive, your ability to source parts... more impresssive. The body resto you put this thing thru was amazing. Was all this work done in flip flops? Kudos to you Rlrajanant.

Thank you for sharing this with us. So great to see this from the other side of the earth. And geez did your English writing skills improve over the course of this thread. Just amazing. Next time you come to the Bay Area, CA I'll buy you a beer and you can drive my old slow 2F. Hopefully I have an H55 by then and maybe an LS.

Oh.. and beautiful family you have. They are either really proud or really pissed at how much time you spend in the gerrrage.

Great build. Just read it start to finish. I’m always intrigued with the subtle differences in how tasks are carried out around the world. So much is different, yet the same.

Your travel photos look ideal. Happy family, nice mountainsides...

One big issue I’m having from day 1 is engine over heating issues and high EGT, using 4 core copper radiator custom made biggest possible that can be installed, tried locking fan clutch which helped on highway run, water pump was changed with Asin as the previous one was some Chinese brand which got damaged just after installing, installed radiator shroud but some how my fan got hit and broke so removed it again, turbo coolant nozzles got rusted which was replaced with bigger ones as well installed bigger overflow bottle but temperature dosen’t seem to be in control. Expecting some light from members and experts.

Bigger brains with better experiences will weigh in soon. But from my tiny experience regarding high EGTs, play with timing advance and the turbo wastegate. Those have been the two things that have helped me the most.

But with timing advance you should see some engine smoking as well? I don’t have any smoking issues, no wastegate as well. Will a bigger intercooler help resolve?

I've gone thru 3 different intercoolers. Best result I've seen has been a slight drop of 50-100 * Fahrenheit.

Some oil leak issues where also fixed though nothing major
