Sooooo everybody's still on for starting the Spring-Over on Wednesday night right??? 
I'd get expensive seals if there is an option and inexpensive fluid and plan on changing it out in a couple hundred miles just to be nice to the new trans.

Daphne's 4' 11" . She has to be able to "mount" w/o a ladder. She once tumbled out of a Chevy Blazer and it wasn't pretty. I had to massage her every night for two weeks after that. I might get away with 33's some day though. I'm looking forward to Saturday.

Hi Wally! I've hooked up with some new Cruisers Chums. Already offering that help I always seem to need. The family eagerly awaiting the jolt my cruiser needs to get her back on the road again. Jesse's Pig looks like a Big Dog sniffin' out a poodle. Jefferson State guys need to advise me on where to get the best price on a new battery?? Preferably another Optima?

Nope.......higher. $62 ! Whenever I get parts pricing from the dealer I always have to ask where the decimal point is.
Also don't forget engine oil + and oil filter. The Optima actually registered on the charge meter today so I'm not positive you will need a new battery. According to the charger it is taking a heavy charge but I would have thought it'd be done by now. I'll let you know tomorrow when I pull it off tomorrow and try to start it without the charger on it.
The reason I'm shooting for an 8am start time is I am hosting a Thanksgiving going-away party at 6pm for a friend that is going to Afghanistan as a cartographer for the government. Needless to say I have a lot of cooking that needs to be done that day and then a lot of people coming over that evening... but I figure I had just enough time to swap out a transmission before that.
