I got a new bumper from Mike @ BumpItOffroad.com. The moneypit, er rig, is coming together. I really like the work and think it as nice as any out there and the price, service, and ease all added up too.

Anyway, here are a few pics:

Lastly, from the front. I got a real beefy transfer skid and my sliders from Mike too. Couple that with ARB lockers, OME lift, CO2, front end rebuilt ... I get lots of help from the local club and the talent therein. I am really excited about this spring and summer.

Nice bumper, the strut is a smart addition to prevent the tire from swinging too far out and crashing back in.

That's nice! I talked with Mike when I ordered my sliders from him and asked if would be making a new rear bumper for the 80 series like the one he made for the white hundy pictured on his website and he told me it was in the works. I will definitely be ordering one. Thanks for posting, I have been anxiously waiting for this. :bounce:

nice bumper...one of my favorites.

Great looking rig...I have the same color...I pass Mike almost on a daily basis and have never met him, need to get around to that and talk to him about some sliders in the future...

Very sharp looking bumper man.

One question. Is the 1/4 panel protection tied back in to the frame behind the rear tire?

Thanks. I'm liking it more all the time.

Is it tied back to the frame behind the tire? Not at the point closest to the tire, but in the 5th picture you can see a plate that is welded to the wing that is about 6" long. The wing does extend forward toward the tire unsupported but there is no way that thing is ever going to move. Ever.

It looks amazing like the 4x4 Labs rear bumper or is it vice-versa? You'll like the departure angle.

Looks good. I like that body paint color too.

is this the new low clearance one that you have to cut the rails for.?

What kind of price is on this bumper it looks nice?
