New (other) addition to the family

With a new baby came the need for more space. My wife and I needed a new vehicle fast, so we opted to add another Toyota to the family...well, Lexus. I just picked it up in SC this afternoon.

This will be Laurel's daily driver. The truck will stay stock and be preserved. Couldn't believe our luck in finding such a clean truck. So many trucks I looked at had the metal worm.

We had an '04 that looked identical to yours. We ended up selling it and getting a '17 GX. My wife misses the LX a lot. The GX cannot hold a candle to it. Y'all are going to love it. Congrats!

Yes, the Honda was totaled by that hail storm that moved through Raleigh. We also took A LOT of home damage; we'll need a new roof. We gave thought to repairing the Honda since Laurel loves the way it handles, but in the next year or two we'll have outgrown it. We needed to find something with more space, so mall cruiser it was.

Congrats, she'll love it! Kendall had an '05 and now an '11 GX and she loved both, but sometimes we do wish we had the extra room of an LX.

Awesome, I love my current locked 80. It crawls over rocks good. But the 100 I had moved small people, groceries, dry cleaning, home projects, random craigslist finds, random FB marketplace finds, tows random cars, Walmart trip finds, taking the family to dinner, etc, ..... it did everything better except crawling over rocks. Laurel will love it.
