I knew there was a local forum around... Took a second to find it.

Hi, I'm Dustin. I just bought an FJ60 from Sirenmoses. I know a few of you in real life (BionicCruiser, Alia176, Sirenmoses). Thought I'd stop in and say hello.

New to Cruisers and relatively new to the Toyota scene as well. I had a '92 Cherokee somewhat built for rock crawling that I beat the crap out of for about 6 years, sold it bought an '83 minitruck that I was going to truggy but the wife hated it. So taking that cue, I bought the 60. A little more comfort for the wife, and room to take the kids (75lb German Shepherd/Lab mix and a Pitbull/Lab mix).

Anyway.. Enough of that... HI!

Welcome to Mud and the HDC!

So what are the plans for the 60?

Dustin,

Is that you?

Dustin, Welcome, Dont tear this one up and you will have it for a very long time. MIke

Well I would like to make it a comfy capable wheeler for moderate stuff and be outfitted for long camping trips. Thinking mild lift, 33s, maybe rear locker, rooftop tent, arb fridge... whatever else the guys at the firehouse can persuade me into doing :steer:

I'd love to have an 80... funding is not there night now unfortunately... probably end up getting the wife an 80 this year when it comes time for a 'new' car

BTW, just so y'all know, Dustin sucesfully took his non lifted F150 extra cab through Kane's creek trail in Moab few weeks back.

So, is Kane Creek paved now?

HA! It was a F-250 long bed, bone stock 4x4. I had to get strapped over a few things... It was definately and adventure. Fun. It's always been my theory (flawed as it may be...) You gotta run what you brung!
