with the status of ports and shipping and all I think we all knew it would take time to get these and I commend you for the speed form inception to product. I still cant wait to get mine but it is what it is and we are happy to have this new option for grills!Me and you both!
Here's the good news: They're here, they've cleared customs, they're waiting to be picked up by ground transport.
Here's the bad news: We're going on 20 days since they're arrived !
Ports are backed up (Port of Los Angeles seeing cargo backups amid surging consumer product demand - https://www.foxla.com/news/port-of-los-angeles-seeing-surge-in-demand) and that's just the reality we're dealing with.
However, I'm breathing a sigh of relief that everything is here and ready. It's a pain to wait - but it's all going in the right direction and I'm hoping (fingers crossed) we actually have these in hand and start shipping next week. I just got an update on the 16th, so, its moving.

I hadn’t read about those China port closings - thanks for sharing. Very frustrating stuff. If I have ANY advice - start your XMas shopping NOW.
Thankfully - we’re unaffected on this round of grilles. They are here, in California, unloaded, cleared customs and just waiting on UPS to get the to our warehouse.

Do you know which orders are going to be part of the ‘first batch’ sent out? Placed mine in July and am hoping for the best but I feel like I’ll be in that second group

THIS WEEK! Everything touched down TODAY. No, I didn't get tracking ahead of time, the truck just... showed up. So, now it's the "we're busy" phase of getting your orders boxed and shipped. Give us a couple days to sort and ship. I'm expecting to have ALL orders sent and tracking numbers emailed out this week.

What a relief to finally get my shipping notification. Should be here next Wednesday.

But for real, your tracking number and grilles are coming.
I have no incentive to hold back your specific order or keep your tracking number hidden away. We're just grinding away packing boxes, double checking orders and getting them out the door. It just takes a bit of time.
I have no less than 50 e-mails in the past couple days asking why another dude on Instagram got their tracking number but they didn't. You've been patient thus far - and I really, really appreciate it. I swear, you're gonna get your tracking number AND your grilles!
I will do my best to answer every comment, question and email (and keep them coming). But I'm not a huge team. If I'm doing one thing, I'm not doing another. Here is an example of an e-mail thread I get quite often:
Absolutely ZERO disrespect to the sender - I get excited for stuff too (I know Tim at Gamaviti must dread e-mails from ME
) but we said it was a 60 day ETA and started shipping on day 63. I think that's a pretty reasonable holding up of our end of the bargain. We shoulda said "60 days from the end of the pre-order window" and that woulda put us a week ahead of schedule - but I doubt that woulda changed the deluge of inquiries. We tried to update info as we got it - but that just seemed to stoke the flames. Again, I digress and don't mind. But on the flip side - I'm also getting messages from people telling me "I was the very first person to order! I should have my grille by now."... and I don't always know a tactful way to respond to that.
Bottom line: I really appreciate all you guys. If you don't get a response the same day, that's a failure on my part and I apologize. But we are hustlin' over here. Finish line is in view.
