Lurking for some time around these forums but just signed up a few days ago.
With a big large bill to fix my 06 BMW X5 4.8is, and lots of time down, I decided to get a more reliable car for our family.
While searching for different makes , my uncle from San Antonio calls me and tells me he bought a new vehicle and if I’m interested in his GX that he’s had since 30k miles.
Now 200k miles,2005 sport Silver on gray, black birds eye maple trim, KDDS, Nav . Ok great!
How much you want for it?
He pauses for a second, come get it for 5,000$.
Booked the ticket, flew down there and drove it back to Seattle.
Couldn’t be more happy with the level of comfort this car has compared to my X and the fact that there’s not one speck of oil on the outside of the engine is mind blowing. You’re probably used to it, but I was never so, coming from the BMW world where they leak oil if you look at them wrong.
So now I’ll probably start updating the suspension, wheels, sliders and a roof rack for now.
I’ll start a new thread once I start the build but for now I’m just stopping by to say hi.
