I'm looking at possibly buying an 09 4Runner Urban Runner model. What are the things I should look for and is this a good model. I'm sure there are FAQ pages out there. I did a quick search but didn't see it right away. Any thoughts of what to look for, pros and cons, maintenance, etc.
Also potentially around $10k with 145k miles, is this good price?
Thanks in advance.

They are excellent vehicles. Sort of a light-duty version of a Land Cruiser. Essentially, very similar to a Prado.

Price sounds reasonable, but it always depends on condition and maintenance history. The Urban Runner package is just a tech package, so most of the important parts of the vehicle are the same as other 4runners. The most common issues on these, IME, tend to be radiator/cooling and brake system. The brake master cylinders have a tendency to wear out, and these brake calipers are known to stick and seize. Check the radiator for discoloration along the top and hoses for bulging. Otherwise, typical issues that go along with an aging Toyota, such as rust, rubber bushings and seals/hoses cracking/failing, ball joints/wheel bearings, coils/plug/injectors, etc..
