I’ve been happy with the Lsailt CarPlay solution. Very unobtrusive, rarely glitches, and connection seems to be consistent and reliable.
I would like to put an lsait in the wife's car once they test it with 21 models. she is constantly getting calls/texts for work while driving and the factory hands free stuff is so clunky compared to car play. She is always listening to satellite radio, will the lsait step in over satellite when she gets a text, or do u have to be on aux/usb (not sure what input it is working off of) for carplay to do its thing with text and calls?

The display is either the stock stuff or the Lsailt stuff. Long press of the Home button switches back and forth between the two display sets.

I don't think the CarPlay stuff comes through if you have the screen display set to the stock stuff - but you can play a satellite radio channel and have the display set to the CarPlay info.

It isn't as seamless as a fully integrated OEM CarPlay solution, but it is pretty good. Not perfect, but good.

I got my airbag light to go off today, this seems to be an issue with the tesla radios. I have been working with Pheoniix on this but they are a bit lost on the early 460 models. I used a thread here to finally figure it out. while in there i installed my multi terrain module and ran wire for the backup camera, subwoofer cable, and a front camera cable. there is a large wad of wire behind the tesla screen, I hope getting all this complete keeps me out of there for a while.

I can only imagine the pot of spaghetti you're dealing with behind the console! o_O
One of the reasons I've been very hesitant about doing anything behind the dash.

Its actually very clean from the factory. But the tesla screens come with wiring for every model year it seems, so there wire loom is huge and messy. There is anlot of room behind the stereo so it will go in, but ti take some work to pack it all in there.

Installed the LFD hybrid bumper and a winch today. It took about 5 hours, but that was mostly figuring out how to remove the bumper for the first time, and a lot of measuring and re measuring before the bumper cuts. Its a pretty easy install, everything bolts up w no issues. I like that the bumper doesn't dominate the entire front end. I dont like the fact that there is no structure behind the corners with this installed. It dropped my front end just enough to have a little rubbing issue I did not have before, gonna wait till i get my tire carrier installed to worry about fixing the rubbing,

Looks great - was thinking about that bumper myself. When you say there is no structure behind the corners, does this mean the bumpers are just kind of sitting there loose and unreinforced?

Yes, the bumper cover is still well attached around the top, and in the wheel wells, but all attachment points to the left and right of the new bumper are gone because the aluminum crossbar that originally sat behind the bumper cover is removed for this. I did make a couple of brackets to attach the cover to the new bumper, and that makes it pretty solid. it doesn't move around while driving, but if you hit something with a corner there is no protection back there until you reach frame.
honestly I don't think that aluminum cross bar was much protection in the first place. I would buy the bumper again knowing what I know now, but I do think they should add some structure there if they decide to re engineer this thing.

Your complaint about lack of structural support on the corners is exactly why I didn't go with a hybrid/lo-pro style bumper, I want protection on the corners for animal strikes because of where we live and commute. I realized this prior to installing a bumper when I simply did the side cuts and saw how little support there was on the corners. Like anything, there are trade-offs. It looks great and it works for your needs, that's what's important.

Ha! your rig is the very vehicle that planted this seed in my brain months ago. I absolutely love it. But that takes planning, and patience. Not my strong points.
