Just got these mounted on wheels yesterday. Not on truck yet. I'll post up my impressions in two weeks after returning from Moab. Until then my studs are staying on the truck. 315/75r16 for the record.

sweet, love the shade of coating on the wheels

I really like how the powder coating turned out too. As the pics above don't do the wheels justice. Here is a close up of one of the wheel slots.

damn nice detail.. I am maybe picking up a set of stock rims this year (have 16x7 4runner rims currently ack) and powder coating them hopefully to something to that effect

Looking good Corbet, I noticed that not ONE of your pics shows the OTHER side of the tire.....cmon show the good side that you really wanted facing out....

Same guy (Justin at Streamline Custom Coatings) Did all my powdercoating, but I didn't get the snazzy red extruded TOYOTA, just black.

Justin does a kick-a$$ job and I'm glad we have such a talented Powder Coater in our area...

I'm jealous of the black crinkle slots:flipoff2:

What does it cost to powder coat the wheels like that?

I've liked those tires ever since I first saw them. I've never seen a picture of all black...are they black on one side and red letters on the other?

All the reviews I have read for them have been positive, except for number of miles per set...I was seeing anywhere from 25K to 35K miles...I jujst can't afford to buy tires that often!

Very cool, though...

Mine were $95 a piece. Kind of spendy but they are a client of mine so I let them get a little creative. Three colors takes some time. If I were to have them done just in the base grey it would have been $55 each.

JT's above are two colors but three different powder coat applications too.

Great guys to work with though. They take pride in the work and enjoy working on wheeling rigs too.

I left the red letters on the back side. Couldn't do it with a green truck.

I like the new tires. Been waiting for general to make those available to the public for a long time. Look forward to hearing how they work.

Dope!

I love these tires. I'd love to hear first impressions and some detailed comparison between them and the duratracs.

My Duratrac's are studded so you won't get any wheeling comparison there. I love my Duratrac's for what I bought them for, snow. The tread design is very good, quiet. But the sidewalls are very thin on the Duratrac. Personally I would not wheel them if you see a lot of rocks. Maybe in the East? Don't know don't live there.

I've only got 40 miles on the Grabbers so far. I'll know more in a week after the trip to Moab.
