i'd love to hear impressions on the grabbers, anything at all. price would be helpful too. thank you.

Returned from Moab today. Happy with how the tires performed. Day one was on Cliff Hanger and my first time running that trail. It was hard to judge them there as it was all new to me. I started with them at 16psi. At the end of the day I felt they had too much air as they did now seem to grab a hold of the rocks as well as I wanted.

Day two I ran Porcupine Rim a trial very familiar to me. I dropped them to 14psi and was impressed with the traction at that point. I did not get any "barking" on the slickrock that I was accustomed to with my Nitto TG's.

My truck is 6000lbs empty and was probably around 6500-6700 loaded this weekend. I'll try a little less pressure next time out as I never felt like I'd loose a bead this trip.

They were not any louder on the HWY than the Nitto's or Duratrac's either IMO.

Pic for fun.

Have two more trips under my belt on the Grabbers. Arch Canyon, UT and a day at Choke Cherry in Farmington, NM. Been very happy with the new Generals. I think 13psi is the right spot on these for me. The truck hooked up good today at Choke Cherry. Ran the Waterfall loop and played in the park a little. Still no chunking but the leading edges have rounded off some.. Sidewalls are holding up very well with a lot of abuse today. Overall I'd rate these as an aggressive AT tire. Which suits my needs perfectly.

Hey Corbet,

Have you seen any snow with the Grabbers on the rig?
Curious if they will be any good in a Canadian winter.....

Cheers

Doug

I got caught in a late spring storm last may. They suck in snow.

Great in rain, still quiet after 10K. We drove the truck to the east coast this summer. I have no complaints as a summer/wheeling tire. I would buy them again and probably will.

also interested with their snow performance, with the lack of sipping its hard for me to believe these will be all that great on ice, but show may be alright.

As I said I've had them in one storm and they sucked in the snow. Don't wait for further review there for me. They come off soon for the winter if favor of my Duratrac's
