For everyone that has emailed me your info thank you, I need more . I asked DS what shocks would work best for the 2". 3". 4" .6" inch lifts and here is what he said.
"Most of the ones we have done are a 10" and a 12" and those seem to work fine but everyone's set up is slightly different and everyone seems to want something a little different. We would really like lengths from every person's own vehicle to make sure we get them the closest shock possible for their actual vehicle because again going by the lift size 2.5", 3", or 4" they can all be a little different depending on spring fatigue or if they have it loaded down with gear"
so what I need from everyone is this. please take measurements of your rig loaded (how it is mainly used ) Mine is valved more for a heavy load even though it see street more than not.
measurements needed
1) on flat ground ( upper shock mount to lower all 4 corners)
2) on flat ground lift your truck just before the tires lift (if your lifting your car from the Drivers side measure the extended length ( upper shock mount to lower)
3) with the drivers side still lifted go to the passenger side and measure the compressed length (upper shock mount to lower)
to make sure the measurements are correct do steps 2-3 again but lift the passenger side just before the tires lift from the ground.
Sorry for all the work guys but DS and I want to make sure everyone is getting what they pay for. We want to nail this right out of the box.
hope everyone is ok with that
Jeff
