Guys I want to apologize for not having any updates for all of you yet. This time of year gets incredibly busy for my business, putting in 14-18 hours a day is leaving little time for me to get things worked out. I notified down south to let him know that things are a little crazy for me right now and he was very accommodating. I am also waiting to hear back from FOX about the steering damper, they do not make one but the one I have supposedly is for a JK. waiting on conformation of correct part numbers and such so I can send that to down south.

Again I do apologize that this is taking a bit longer than I thought but I am still working on it.

Thanks for your understanding.

Jeff.

I don't have any updates as of yet. I have a few emails into fox for the part #s for the front stabilizer. It's been very busy for me at the office and have not been able to put as much time into it as I would like. But be assured I have not forgotten about it. Just takin me a little longer than I expected. I apologize for the delay guys.

Jeff

No worries. Probably after the holidays would be better for most.

This mod seems to be one of the best ride improvements to date...

Based on the threads on this forum.
Proper sizing is critical.
Given that you know what has been done to your cruisah this is a great mod!.
Cruisercouple has the modifications defined / nailed (he has done most of them).
As long as we can clearly define what our mods are this will work.

Kudos to cruisercouple. Time and gas money for the effort is in order me thinks.

Frank,
I think you mean " valving". Valving is critical for properly setting up a rig to your liking.

Everyone that has sent me an email for the group buy has been has been very detailed in what they carry and what mod's they have or will have so thanks for that.

I will be taking a 2700 mile trip starting tomorrow and ill report back on how the shocks do. this will be a fully loaded LC . (Rack/cargo area )
it will be slow as Sh** as i have a 3F slow but should be great.

P.S frank ill be stopping by tomorrow to drop off them OME shocks.

Merry Christmas everyone. Hope your holidays will be great.

Noticed that your rig is for sale...This means that there is no hope for a Fox setup for the 80?

I hope it all works out Jeff. Best of luck to you.

Thanks 80Bajabound, I appreciate it.

On another note, I spoke with DownSouth this morning, they are still on-board, we are still waiting on fox for there Internal part numbers for the steering damper & measurements. They want to make sure the cross reference with the LC will fit. I will measure my steering damper tonight so they have measurements from me and fox to make sure everything is correct.

Jeff,

Thanks for all of the time and effort you have put into this!

Thanks Jeff. Sorry to hear you have to sell the rig. Lots of mods since you purchased it.

FJC, thanks for the kind words, it's been an awesome ride with the cruiser. And after careful thought about the situation at hand , I am pleased to say the cruiser is staying, I can make everything work out without selling.

I'm watching this with great interest - hopefully the group buy pans out. I need shocks all the way around since mine are long gone.

Cruisercouple: nice rig. I stopped by YotaMasters in December and it was there being prepped for your trip. How did it handle?

Good luck with your personal life. Glad you don't have to sell the cruiser.

Can't wait for all the details to be finalized.

Hey Jeff,
Minor Hi-jack.
Hope that everything went well!
Thanks for dropping off the rear wings.
DS on complete-nice. PS need to cut the exhaust resonator out in order to mount.
Updates on the fox shock group buy?
Need to get the ARB mounted on front and rear tire mount fabbed up. Then I am ready for FOX shocks!
Mohave Trail here we come!

Best Regards,
Frank
